During a missionary visit to Chibuto in the Gaza province of Mozambique, Felito and his wife Anna noticed a great need among the children of the Villages around, such as a case of a grandmother who had to raise 8 grandchildren after her 4 daughters died of AIDS. In a conversation with her, she explained her struggle to raise these kids. She told us that her situation is not unique because there are many children in the villages who are in the same situation and some in even worse because they don’t have a grandmother to look for them.
This was also seen in the village as Felito and Anna were going around the village found that the situation is really bad, sad, and in many cases, children took on the responsibility of raising other younger children, and so God gave a vision, and to respond to this need, the vision began to take shape and in 2010 the Center of Hope was founded.
